I run a licensed solar EPC in Egypt. Before Voltara was a product, my own pipeline lived in four places: a CRM that held the lead, an engineering model that held the design, a document that held the proposal, and a plan that held the project. Every handoff between them was re-keying — and every re-key was a chance for the number the client signed to drift from the number the engineer calculated.
We lost hours to it every week, and the hours were the cheap part. The expensive part was the doubt: when sales, engineering and finance each hold their own copy of a project, nobody is sure which copy is true. The fix was never a better spreadsheet. It was one thread — a number entered once at the first call and carried, untouched by hand, to the commissioned plant.
